The Beach house restaurant in Decatur, Illinois sits on Lake Shore Drive where guests can come and enjoy a fantastic meal and nature.
About Beach House
Nelson Park and Lake Decatur opened in 1923 on the fourth of July. Although the Beach House restaurant was not yet established, today the fantastic restaurant sits in Nelson Park on Lake Decatur with a beautiful view and outside seating. The Beach House is open Monday through Sunday all Summer. Lunch is served Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and dinner is Tuesday through Saturday starting at 5 p.m.
The Beach House recommends reservations, especially if you’d like to snag an outside table, but there is a variety of dining options. Beach House offers waterfront dining, outdoor dining, a bar, a banquet facility, and catered events. The attire is casual and there is a private parking lot for guests. The owner is Todd Mason, who can be found working at some of the local events. Angie Mason is the Beach House manager who has been working at the restaurant since 2008.
