As you start to think and make a game plan, consider these tips to change your overall mindset and just boost yourself up in general. Self-care is so much more than a bubble bath or a face mask. A few easy ways to practice mental self-care are taking a daily walk as a thank you to your body for carrying you around all day, talk to yourself positively instead of listening to yourself say negative things, trust in the process and let go of trying to control the situation, and eat more foods that grow naturally. All of these things will leave you feeling refreshed over time and with a positive outlook.
This is the year to grow and stimulate your brain! A few ways to do that are to get more sleep, smile and laugh more, read more books that will challenge your reading level, and don’t waste your energy on things that will pull you down like gossiping, negative thoughts, past issues, or other negative aspects.

This is the easiest one to talk about, but the hardest one to actually implement. Life is mostly mental, so a good attitude and outlook are keys for success, especially headed into a new decade. Some helpful tips to achieve that mindset are to focus on the “get to” instead of the “have to”, implement a rule of no complaining, stay positive in your mindset and keep people out who fill you with negative thoughts, and don’t seek happiness because it is sure to find you when you aren’t looking for it.
